The history of Guimarães Jazz is also the history of the city, that is continually rediscovered through celebration of the jazz ritual as the wisdom of wonder. For one of the oldest jazz festivals in Portugal, the future is always a middle ground, a place for experimentation and analysis, which assumes the multiplicity of languages within its own category, in order to continue to be the stage for all styles and artistic genres. Between past and future, the exhibition of the festival's 30th anniversary is, therefore, a document of time, paced to the rhythm of jazz.
